Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a release agent usable for tire outer surfaces, free from causing tire cracks after vulcanization, by incorporating a specific amount of graphite into a colloidal talc to reduce the amount of the talc to be used sharply and to eliminate the white staining of the vulcanizate.
CONSTITUTION: A release agent comprising (A) 100 parts by wt. of a colloidal talc of average particle size 0.1W1μ and (B) 0.28W18 parts by wt. of a lubricant graphite of average particle size 3W20μ. Preferably, 5W38 wt% of (A) and 0.1 W0.9 wt% of (B) are dispersed in water together with a binder, spreader, and surfactant.
