Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain an electrode lead bar structure capable of "keeping the voltage drop and electric resistance small even under large current, by disposing a core body which is press-fitted into the inside of a copper hollow tubular body pressure-fixed to the interior of the end opening of a tubular metal body being corrosion resistant to the electrolyte.
CONSTITUTION: A considerably large opening part 4 is provided in the end part of a lead bar main body 1 which is corrosion resistant to the electrolyte affixed to an electrode 3 in electrolytic cell or the like (Ti steel, etc. in the case of anode; iron, Ni, stainless steel in the case of cathode), and a hollow tubular body 6 made of soft copper is disposed therein. The wall thickness of the hollow body 6 should be preferably 1 to 3mm. A core body 5 made of hard copper, stainless steel, Ti, etc. having higher hardness than the hollow body 6 is press-fitted into the inside of the hollow body 6, and the outer wall of the tubular body 6 and the inner wall of the opening part 4 are pressure-fixed together. The length of the hollow body 6 should be larger than the depth of the opening part 4 so as to connect with the current supply source. This relay part does not cause problems such as heat generation even under large current.
