Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable easy and low-cost storing and carry-out of bulky and/or heavy articles by moving pallet car trucks in two dimensions by wire operations and electrical operations.
CONSTITUTION: When a pallet car truck 12 is to be carried out, a connector 17 between a block 13 and a fixer 16 of the car truck 12 is released; then, with a wire take-up/let-off drum 19 rotated in the normal direction, a feed-out wire 7 is taken up and a feed-in wire 5 is let off, so that the block 13 pushes the car truck 12 by way of a connector 18. When the car truck 12 has been transfered from a storing zone 24 onto a car truck 1 on a passage 2, the drum 19 is stopped and the connector 18 between the block 13 and the car truck 12 is released by an electrical operation. Then, the drum 19 is rotated inversely so as to transfer the block 13 to the side of the fixer 16 by a wire operation, and the connector 17 is connected with the fixer 16.
