Abstract
PURPOSE: To readily obtain an accurate contraction force by directly measuring the contraction force in radial direction at contracting time.
CONSTITUTION: A cutout 8a is provided on a cylindrical bracket 8, a power meter 5 is so mounted at the cutout as to project the movable pressure receiving surface, and a thermally contracted tube 9 is so coated on the bracket 8 as to coat the movable pressure receiving surface 1. When the temperature of a constant temperature oven 11 is raised, the tube 9 is contracted to obtain the radial contraction force at predetermined temperature and radius by reading the power meter scale 6 through a window 11 when the surface 1 coincides with the outer diameter of the bracket 8.
