Abstract
PURPOSE: In a process of driving a hollow concrete pile, to prevent the mixing of slime into a cement milk layer and the splash of the slime at the site by driving a pile while pressure feeding the slime into a slime receiver tank by a sand pump.
CONSTITUTION: The slime 34 formed of the pressurized water fed from a conduit 32 is passed through a discharge pipe 42 up onto the ground by the operation of a sand pump 40, and collects in a slime receiver tank 28. With a pile 12 driven to a predetermined depth, the supply of the pressurized water is stopped. Where the bearing power of the tip end of the pile 12 is to be increased, cement milk is fed under pressure through the pressurized-water feed conduit 32 or another conduit and jetted from the lower end of the pile 12. By continuous operation of the sand pump 40, the slime 34 can be removed completely and the cement milk can be filled in.
