Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a highly reliable ink feeder impervious to air at the replacement of the ink cartridge which comprises an ink cartridge and a double tube coupling having a filter at an ink feed port. CONSTITUTION:An 0-ring 8 is arranged for a cartridge into which an ink 2 is sealed with a rubber stopper having a hollow portion. After a filter 12 is pressed into a double tube 10 of a double tube coupling 7, the cartridge is mounted to the coupling. The stopper is caused to open with the end of the double 10 and then, float on the liquid surface of the ink. An air is introduced through an inlet 4 and the double tube 10 whereby the ink 2 is conducted out of an ink feed import through the filter passing via the open end of the double tube 10 and a slit 11.
