Abstract

PURPOSE: To permit emergency valve closure under remote control by arranging such that a main valve body is opened or closed by opening or closing an auxiliary valve.
CONSTITUTION: A valve device 1 has main and auxiliary valve bodies 12 and 13 which are provided as a pair within a valve frame 12. At the time of opening the valve, by turning a lever 15 provided at an end of a shaft 32, a valve shaft 23 is raised by a link 35, which has a leg 33b in engagement with the underside of a pin 34, whereby the auxiliary valve body 14 is separated from an auxiliary valve seat 22 to open a see-through hole 21. As a result, the fluid in a fluid introducing chamber 19 is caused to flow through the see-through hole 21 to a downstream side flow path 16b, so that the pressure within a chamber 19 is reduced. Thus, with the pressure within an upstream side path 16a acting upon a valve body 13 the main valve body 13 is upwardly displaced against a spring 13a to open the main valve. Also, a valve shaft 23 may be locked with a ball 31 and a needle 27.
