Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the noise associated with the passage of flow while accurately controlling the flow rate by means of a throttle section provided at the downstream of the valve section comprising a stationary plate having an inflow port and a mobile plate for opening or closing the port sliding with the plate in such a manner as to open or close in linkage with the valve section.
CONSTITUTION: In a double-valve type hot/cold water cook, for example, when a water side handle 23 is turned to rotate a mobile plate 19 so that a concave notch section 24 aligns an inflow port 22 of the stationary plate 18, water fed to an inflow path enters an inflow path by way of the inflow port 22, the concave notch section 24, a slit-shaped passage 14 and discharged through a discharge port 1. Under such a fully opened condition, as with rotation of the mobile plate 19, the concave section coincides only about half of the inflow port 22, the valve section a made up of the stationary plate and the mobile plate is opened by half. At this point, the throttle section b made up the slit-shaped passage 14 and the mobile plate 19 is opened by half thereby halving the discharge.
