Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable the toner to be replenished always in a fixed full condition to a toner supply box with a simple and inexpensive construction by providing a toner storing box in communication with the toner supply box and disposing a toner replenishing member within the toner storing box.
CONSTITUTION: A toner replenishing structure 5 provided in a developing device box 3 has a toner storing box 6 of a large capacity and a supply port 7 and is provided with a passage 9 for communicating a toner supply box 8 of a small capacity and the supply box 8 and storing box 6. A toner supply member 10 is provided to the supply port 7. When the revolving shaft 14 in the storing box 6 revolves, the toner is conveyed toward the opening part 13 along inside wall 11a by an elastic member 16. When the toner passes the lower edge 13a of the opening part 13, said edge elastically deforms and springs the toner off into the feed box 8, thus depositing the toner in the supply box. When the specified volume of the toner has deposited in the toner supply box 8, the toner circulates along the inside wall 11a of the cylindrical main body 11 and is recirculated into the storing box 6.
