Abstract

PURPOSE: The title composition having improved weld strength, elasticity, strength, and heat resistance, with a low warpage without peeling of mica from the surface, comprising a polyolefin resin of specific structure, mica powder, and an amnioalkylsilane compound.
CONSTITUTION: A composition comprising (A) a modified aliphatic polyolefin resin having epoxy or carboxyl groups, (B) mica powder having a diameter ≤200μ and the ratio of weight-average diameter to the weight-average thickness ≤10:1, and (C) an aminoalkylsilane, e.g. γ-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane. Ingredient (A) can be obtained by grafting 0.05W3wt% of (b) a carboxyl- or epoxy group-containing unsaturated compound, e.g. maleic acid, onto (a) an aliphatic polyolefin, e.g. polypropylene. The amount of (B) is 10W60wt%, preferably 20W50wt%.
