Abstract
PURPOSE: To form the detector fast in response, by fitting the electrode plate directly connected with one side of the electrode for the temperature detection element at the lower end of the metal cylinder with insulation and connecting conductors to the electrode of other side of element, electrode plate and metal cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: The second electrode plate 2 directly connecting the temperature detection element (chip thermister) 3 at the lower electrode is fitted to the lower end of the metal cylinder (first electrode) 1 connecting the lead 4 via the insulator 7 in water-proof manner, the lead 5 is connected to the electrode plate 2, and the lead 6 is connected to the upper side electrode 3b of the element 2, and the insulation seal material 8 is filled in the lower part in the metal cylinder 1. Further, suitable filling material 9 is put on the seal material 8, and the leads 4, 5, 6 are bundles in the tube 10, and they are led out through the water-proof cap 11. By using the said detector, the electric change of the element 3 is detected via the leads 5 and 6 to measure the liquid temperature, and the measurement of water level is made by detecting the presence of the conduction between the leads 4 and 5.
