Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a motor which can readily eliminate skew by providing elliptical vent holes having linear portions at a rotor and inserting guide pins into the holes to thereby remove the skew.
CONSTITUTION: The radial direction of the rotor 10 of an induction motor is arranged longitudinally. Elliptical vent holes 12 are provided at the rotor 10 with linear portions. Guide pins 13 each having a diameter slightly smaller than the length of short axial width are inserted into the vent holes 12 to thus eliminate the skew. Thus, since the holes 12 become arcuate around a motor shaft as a center but elliptical having linear portion, the guide pins 13 are disposed at the outer peripheral side of the vent holes 12 in the vicinities of the upper and lower surfaces of the rotor 10 and disposed at the inner peripheral side of the vent holes 12 in the vicinity of the center of the rotor 10 to thus readily insert the guide pins 13 having slightly smaller than the length of the short axial width of the vent holes 12 into the holes 12.
