Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate troublesome operations as well as miss-operations to move heaters in a roaster equipped with the heaters movable in up-and-down above a table to put objects to be roasted thereon by coupling the elevation of the heaters with an opening motion of a lid for a casing.
CONSTITUTION: When a lid 4 is opened, a roaster net 9 connected to the lid through a link 21 is moved to forward and projected to a front side through an opening portion of a casing for a roaster while a reflector plate 12 and heaters 10a, 10b above the net are elevated as one element because a cooperating member 17 slidably contacting with a cam surface 20a is elevated in accordance with a horizontal movement of a cam plate 20. Next, when the roaster net 9 is loaded with objects to be roasted and the lid 4 is closed, the cam plate 20 is retreated in cooperated with a backward motion of the net 9 and the cooperating member 17 slides down along the cam surface 20a by the weight of the reflector plate 12 and the heaters 10a, 10b, and thereby, the heaters approach the objects to be roasted on the roaster net 9 sufficiently. According to this constitution, the objects to be roasted may be inserted into or taken out of the roaster safely and simply.
