Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate troublesome operations as well as miss-operations to move heaters in a roaster equipped with the heaters movable in up-and-down above a table to put objects to be roasted thereon by coupling the elevation of the heaters with an opening motion of a lid for a casing.
CONSTITUTION: When a lid 4 is opened, a roaster net 9 connected to the lid through a link 22 is moved to forward against tension of a spring 20 and projected to a front side through an opening portion of a casing for a roaster. In this case, a holding plate 22 is pushed and pivoted from backward by a aft supporting rod 9b as a releasing means and separated from an engaging piece 17a, thus, released from a holding condition for a reflectior plate 12. Thereby, heaters 10a, 10b located above the net 9 are brought to the uppermost positon together with the reflector plate 12 as one element by being pulled by a tension spring 19. On the other hand, when the lid 4 is being closed, the height of the heaters 10a, 10b may be adjusted to any disired height by moving an elevating notch 7 in up-and-down and engaging the engaging piece 17a of an engaging member 17 with any V-groove 21a provided on the holing plate 21.
