Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent abrupt starting of combustion on power resupply by setting the external power source service interruption time for stopping combustion to be shorter than the set time of a clock circuit which generates a combustion starting signal.
CONSTITUTION: In the case of service interruption during combustion, if the service interruption time (t) is shorter than the holding time (t1) determined by the capacitor 7 and the resistor 9 of a relay 5, the combustion continues and then returns to its original state on power resupply. When (t) is longer than (t1) but shorter than the service interruption holding time (t2) of an LSI clock circuit 20, the circuit 20 continues operating though the relay 5 turns off and the combustion stops. When (t2)<(t), the circuit 20 also stops, and the necessity of resetting is indicated on an indicator 21 on power resupply. In the case of service interruption during the set time of a timer, when (t)<(t1), normal operation is continued; when (t1)<(t)< (t2), repushing a switch 2 enables operation; when (t2)<(t), normal operation is not carried out.
