Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a recording system requiring no chart paper by specifying a recording surface and recording means.
CONSTITUTION: A rotary cylinder member 4, which is connected to a shaft of rotation 3 of a drive source 2, has its surface 10 coated with a hydrophobic material such as enamel or polyorephine, e.g., polyethylene or polypropyrene thereby to form an endless continuous recording surface 1. There is arranged with respect to the recording surface 1 recording means, which is equipped with water-soluble or solvent-mixed type ink and which is moved by a potentiometer 6, a servomotor 7 and wire 8. At the same time, there is arranged erasing means 9 which is made of felt or the like. As a result, the recording surface 1 is recorded continuously with the change in a certain physical phenomenon, which is erased together with the information record under the normal condition, after the information record under an abnormal condition is suitably detected and stored, so that a new recording surface can be brought into a recording position.
