Abstract
PURPOSE:To depict a pattern at high speed with high precision and to form a recording paper suitable for a laser printer, by adding an aromatic diazonium salt as a photosensitive or thermosensitive component. CONSTITUTION:A solution consisting of 1 pt. of aromatic diazonium salt, such as 4-methylaminobenzenediazonium.zinc chloride, 1-50pt. of gum arabic, polyvinylalcohol, or other organic polymer, and when necessary, 20-100pt. by wt. of surfactant added water is coated and dried on a tracing paper for drawing to form an about 0.5mum thick photosensitive or thermosensitive thin layer. This recording paper absorbs 330-430nm wavelengths, or decomposes on being heated to 150- 170 deg.C, producing ZnCl2. A pigment powder is scattered on ZnCl2 having absorbed moisture and become adhesive by air blowing to form a pattern leaving the pigment only on the pattern made sticky. The pattern is fixed by ammonia or the like.
