Abstract

PURPOSE: To automatically discriminate the kinds of containers by coactively arranging a container receiver, an elastic member and a detector in an accommodating chamber.
CONSTITUTION: There is arranged in an accommodating chamber 9 a receiver 2 which is composed of a pair of right and left slender bodies having an L-shaped section. The receiver 2 has its one end attached to a bottom plate 13 through a shaft-like supporting member 5 and its other end attached to a connecting plate 16 such that it is suspended by means of an elastic member 3. A detector 4 such as a lead switch is arranged therebelow. Thus, if a container having a preset contour is inserted from an entrance 10 into the accommodating chamber 9 and placed on the receiver 2, this receiver 2 is turned downward against the elastic member 3, and the connecting plate 16 pushes down a contact 20 to turn on the detector 4 so that its accommodation is detected. On the contrary, a container having a different contour cannot be placed on the receiver 2.
