Abstract
PURPOSE: To automatically detect the entrance and exit of a preset food or the like by coactively arranging a preset food receiver, an elastic member and a detector in a refrigerator.
CONSTITUTION: There are arranged in an accommodating chamber 3 of a refrigerator a pair of right and left receivers 2, which are made of a slender plate having an L-shaped section and which have their ends attached to the bottom plate 17 by means of a shaft-shaped support 11 and their other ends connected to each other through a connecting plate 14. This plate 14 is suspended under a preset tension by an elastic member 4, and a detector 5 is arranged therebelow. Thus, if a container having a preset contour and a preset weight is accommodated in the chamber 3 and is placed in the receivers 2, these receivers 2 are turned downward to depress a contact 19 with the connecting plate 14 thereby to turn on the detector 5 so that the accommodation of the container is detected. If the container is taken out, the receivers 2 restore their initial positions to turn off the detector 5 so that the take-out of the container is detected. If the contours and weights of the containers are different, the impossibility of the receivers 2 takes place together with the impossibility of their downward turn.
