Abstract
PURPOSE: Catalytic oxidation plates are installed between an aeration tank and sedimentation tank so that sewage cleaning efficiency is increased during passage between the both tanks.
CONSTITUTION: In a sewage cleaning equipment, an aeration tank 2 and sedimentation tank 4 are installed so that when water level in the aeration tank 2 increses, sewage in the tank 2 overflows. Between the aeration tank 2 and the sedimentation tank 4 are provided catalytic oxidation plates 3 which are spacedly stacked. Aerated sewage in the tank 2 is decomposed by oxidation while passing through the catalytic oxidation plates 3 into the sedimentation tank 4. Sewage in the sedimentation tank 4 is blown up by air jetted from an air diffusion pipe 5 and circulated through the aeration tank 2 and the sedimentation tank 3 while undergoing further treatment by aeration and catalytic oxidation.
