Abstract

PURPOSE: A non-toxic inexpensive cement soil stabilizer capable of permitting continuous operation to obtain improved wall-like ground from soft ground, with delayed setting regardless of soil organic substances, comprising cement, lime, and zinc oxide.
CONSTITUTION: (A) 100 parts by wt. of a main material comprising (a) cement, e.g. Portland, Portland blastfurnace, or flyash cement, (b) lime, e.g. quick or slaked lime, or calcined dolomite, at a weight ratio of (a) to (b) of 9:1W6:4, preferably 8:2W7:3 is incorporated with (B) 0.1W2.0 parts by wt., preferably 0.2W1.0 part by wt., of zinc oxide, and, if necessary 0.1W30 parts by wt. of gypsum, e.g. anhydrous or crystalline gypsum, or calcium sulfite.
