CONSTITUTION: Paper P taken out of tray 28 with extraction roller 48 is carried through guide plate 72, conveying rollers 70 and 71, guides 73 and 74 to transfer unit 30. Roller 70 made of rubber has a high friction coefficient and roller 71 made of a metal has a low friction coefficient. Extraction roller 48 rotates faster by 10% than a theoretical speed of paper P, so this is fed pressed between rollers 70 and 71.
