Abstract
PURPOSE: To effectively cool a rotor of an electric rotary machine via a heating cycle by perforating a hole at the center of a rotating shaft, moving the end of the hole to the blade portion of a hydraulic machine, and filling liquid capable of evaporating in the hole to thereby form a heat pipe.
CONSTITUTION: A heat pipe is formed by perforating a hole 5 reaching the blades 4 of a pneumatic machine at the end thereof at the center of a rotating shaft 2 thereof and filling liquid capable of evaporating such as distilled water, methanol or hydrogen after evacuating it in vacuum. Thus, the liquid in the hole 5 evaporated by the heat of a rotor 7 forms a heating cycle of radiating the heat and condensing at the blade portion 4 to thereby effectively cool the rotor 7 and provide no additional cooler separately from the rotary machine to thus improve the reliability.
