Abstract

PURPOSE: For effective and economical solid recovery from palm oil pressed waste liquid, the concentrate of such waste liquid is partly combusted by using as fuel the waste in oil pressing process, and burnt gas is used to dry by spraying the remaining waste liquied, then after solid is recovered, the waste liquid is used for concentrating process.
CONSTITUTION: Palm oil pressed waste liquid 8 is sumped in the tank 15 and concentrated as circulating liquid 14 by using burnt waste gas 13 supplied through the fan 7. The concentrated waste liquid 9 is sent to both the burner unit 1 such as boiler or incinerator and the spray drying unit 2 to be sprayed in both units. The burner unit 1 uses as fuel the waste 17 produced in the process of palm oil pressing. In the burner unit 1, the waste liquid 9 evaporates and solid components burns. Burnt waste gas 10 is sent to the equipment 2, where the remaining waste liquid is sprayed and dried. Burnt waste gas 11 that contains solid is guided into the dry- type separator 3 where the solid component 12 is recovered. Solid 12-removed burnt waste gas 13 is instroduced into the equipment 4 to remove dust and then discharged.
