Abstract

PURPOSE: To compact the whole of the starter of engine by providing a recoil starter freely joinable with cooling fan to a cylindrical shaft portion surrounding crank shaft.
CONSTITUTION: The crank case 23 is coupled with the lower part of the cylinder 22 in which a piston not illustrated in Fig. slides. The crank case 23, also, has the crank shaft 24 whose top is fixed with the cooling fan 25 and also the cylindrical shaft portion 28 extending toward the fan 25 and surrounding the crank shaft 24. The quick screw 29 is formed on the periphery of the shaft portion 28 and also the pulley 30 with the coupler 31 is arranged on the quick screw 29, and the one end of the pulley 30 is coupled with the coil spring 36 through the shaft 34 and the other end has the projection 37 freely joinable with the concavity 38 of the fan 25. Thus, when the pulley 30 is driven, the pulley 30 moves on the quick screw and the projection 37 and the concavity 38 are combined with each other.
