Abstract

PURPOSE: A high-precision high-reliability device in which an objective function is generated, the difference between the function and electrical signal corresponding to the weight of a material in a hopper is calculated, and a discharger is driven according to the difference for conducting metering discharge.
CONSTITUTION: A load cell 2 connected to a scale hopper 1 detects the weight of a material in the hopper 1 and converts it to an electrical signal, which is fed to a control unit 4 through an amplifier 3. The control unit 4 comprises: a setter 5 which presets a discharge rate; an objective-function generator 6 which receives the output signal of the setter 5 and generates an objective function equal to the discharge rate; and a subtractor 7 which calculates the difference between the electrical signal and the objective function and feeds the difference to a discharger controller 8. The controller 8 drives a discharger 9 to conduct metering discharge of the material.
