Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the captioned plate-form bodies with good efficiency by forming specified header parts and channels to the plates shorter than the width size of press dies and longer than their length size then opposedly superposing these.
CONSTITUTION: A plate 13 which is shorter in width than a press die 10 and is longer in length is matched to the left side end of the press die 10 and is then pressed to form a header part 6 and part of channel parts 4. In this case, the portions out of the press die 10 remain flat. Next, the plate 13 is so rotated as to become opposite in top and bottom and the plate 13 is so positioned to the left side end of the press die 10 that the channel parts 4 conform to the press die, thence it is pressed to form a header part 5 and channel parts 4'. Next, two sheets of the abovementioned plates 2 having undergone the pressing are opposed and are so superposed that the respective header parts 5, 6 and channel parts 4 align, thence the assembly is subjected to seam welding or the like so as to maintain airtightness.
