Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the pouring efficiency of multiple kinds of metal molds by inserting metal molds in a tiltable frame body, and clamping and holding the same thereby performing pouring in inclined states suited for casting plans and shapes.
CONSTITUTION: The upper mold 3b having been completed of required works is mated to the lower mold 3a fixed to a bed plate 2. Next, the leg parts 2a of the bed plate 2 enter a tilting frame body 4 while slipping along grooves 4d and stop in the required position. Then, the rods 11a, 11c of upper cylinders 10a, 10b extend to cause rollers and holding legs 13a, 13b to hold down the angle parts 3m, 3n of the upper mold 3b, thereby acting partial pressing pressure to the parting line of the metal molds 3 and clamping the same. Next, pouring is accomplished in the preset states such as home position, tilting after pouring, pouring while tilting, pouring after tilting, pouring during tilting and stopping on the way, and changing of tilting speed depending upon casting plans and shapes. Before the casting freezes, the molds are held in another clamping mechanism, thence the molds are conveyed to the specified position from the tilting body 4 and the clamp is released to separate the upper and lower molds 3b, 3a. After the product is taken out, the foregoing cycle is repeated.
