Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare a polyurethane elastomer havig improved physical properties, ultraviolet hight and yellowing resistance to combustion gas, and anti-block properties, comprising a specific diol.
CONSTITUTION: (A) An organic diisocyanate, e.g. diphenylmethane-4,4'- diisocyanate, is reacted with (B1) a polyetherdiol and/or polyesterdiol and (B2) a diol of the formula (R1 and R2 are alkylene oxide group; n and m are integers 2W30) as a diol component and (C) a chain extender, e.g. β-amino-propionic acid hydrazide. The molecular weight of (B2) is 400W3,000, preferably 600W2,300.
