Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate slide contact of pawls and the toner of black solid parts in stripping process prevent staining of images by providing the pawls for ptripping transfer paper in the positions corresponding to the dropout parts of the photoreceptor owing to a plurality of endless belts as original conveying means.
CONSTITUTION: Endless belts 41A, 41B... are disposed at not always equal pitch sizes Pa, Pb... on an original platen so as to be suited for conveying of the sizes of all the originals of JIS requirements. Since dropout parts 39 are produced on a photosensitive drum 4 by these belts, pawl parts 40 for stripping transfer paper are provided at the disposition pitch corresponding to said positions and the width of each pawl is made smaller than the width of the dropout parts 39. Hence, each pawl will not make slide contact with the toner of the black solid parts 38 and staining of the copy images owing to falling of the toner onto the transfer paper may be prevented.
