Abstract

PURPOSE: To realize a key-input control signal generator whose connection terminals required can be reduced in number even if the number of key switches in IC-constitution is increased.
CONSTITUTION: When key switch S1 is turned ON in a mode where mode signal Pm is made into "1" by placing mode change-over switch SW1 at a contact-(t6) side and input scan signals P1 and P2 are "1" and "0" respectively, output scan signal P3 becomes "1" by passing through 1st contact (a1), short bar (c1) and 2nd contact (b1) of S1; in this state, changes of input scan signals stop and while S1 is being depressed, control signal R1 appears at output terminal (t8). Other combinations are shown in the 1st table. Further, the 2nd table shows relations between S11W S14 and various signals with SW1 put at a (t5) side. In this way, control signals corresponding to several key switches can be genrated and the number of connection terminals in case of IC-implementation can be reduced.
