Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish efficient exhaust of gas by automatically sensing gas leakage with a ventilation fan connected to a gas sensor in such a manner as to rotate a fan in the duct with a motor installed there-outside whenever it occurs.
CONSTITUTION: A rotating shaft 3 of a fan fitted into a mount shaft in a duct 1 is connected to a motor 4 installed on the outer surface of the duct to form ventilation on fans 5 and 5'. The ventilation fans are separately mounted at an upper position of the outer wall of a kitchen 6 or the like and at a proper position of a floor 8 in such a manner that the motor 4 is located outside the kitchen 6. Gas sensor 9 and 9' attached in the kitchen 6 and the duct 1 sense gas leaked in the kitchen 6 and starts the motor 4 of the ventilation fans 5 and 5'. Thus, the fan 2 in the duct rotates so as to absorb and exhaust the gas leaked outside.
