Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the title mixing device which can be used for a long period without causing the clogging of nozzle holes, characterizing in that nozzles supplying reaction liquids to the mixing chamber are washed with washing liquid sprayed toward the nozzle through a nozzle hole covered with an elastic cap. CONSTITUTION:Washing liquid and compressed air are sent through a washing tube 16 and an air tube 21, respectively, to a washing nozzle 33, and sprayed into the mixing chamber 26. The washing nozzle 33 is positioned at equal distances from the nozzles 24 and 25. The nozzle holes 24a and 25a of the nozzles 24 and 25 are covered with elastic cylindrical caps 34. The elastic recovery of the cap is selected to be sufficiently low not to stop the flow of the liquid supplied through the nozzles 24 and 25. By turning the switch of the pump on, the liquids in a polyisocyanate tank and the polyol tank are circulated through three-way valves.
