Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce a loss in revolution by decreasing a sliding surface of a rotary disc from enclosing both suction impellers in a vane chamber of gear case.
CONSTITUTION: A bulkhead 2a is provided in a gear case 2 to divide into a gear chamber 2b and a vane chamber 2c, and both suction impellers 10 are enclosed in the vane chamber 2c. A refrigerant gas coming out of an evaporator flows into the first stage impeller 10a for compression through an inlet port 19, flows in a passage 16, then comes into the second stage impeller 10b for compression by way of a return section 17. The refrigerant gas discharged from the second stage impeller 10b is fed into a condenser by way of a scroll section 18 set in a proper area.
