Abstract

PURPOSE: To simultaneously eliminate the production of uneven transfer and image blur and achieve the simplification of constitution by connecting a DC corona discharger via rectifier circuit to an AC power source.
CONSTITUTION: The electrostatic latent images formed on the surface of a photoreceptor 1 are developed to toner images by the magnetic toner having resistance values of 1010W1015Ωcm in a developing device 4 and AC corona radiation is accomplished on the surface of the photoreceptor having the toner images with an AC corona discharger 7. In order to transfer the toner images of the photoreceptor surface after having received this AC corona radiation, the DC corona radiation of the same polarity as that of the electrostatic latent images is done to the back of the transfer paper by a DC corona discharger 8. The voltage value of the AC power source of the discharger 7 is 4W5kV and the discharger 8 is connected to this AC power source by way of a rectifier circuit. Thereby, the production of uneven transfer and image blur is simultaneously eliminated and the simplification of the constitution may be achieved.
