Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate the correction of letters striken by mistake by establishing an indication part for alpha numeric display so arranged on the printing head to be integral therewith.
CONSTITUTION: One letter is entered on a letter input key 9. Read out by a key control section, the letter code is transmitted to a display control section 4 and the key signal is sent to a drive control section 8. The control section sends the letter code from the right end of a shift register and simultaneously shifts letters to the left only by one letter. At the same time, surplus letter codes are sent to a printing control section 6 from the end of the registor 7. Upon the end of the shifting by the register, the control section 4 indicates letter codes sent from the register 6 on the indication part 2. The control section 6 actuates the printing heads 3 to perform a printitng in sequence based on the command of the control section 8 corresponding to the letter codes sent from the register 7.
