Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a superior toner for use in a printing original plate by preparing a toner consisting mainly of an epoxy resin and a colorant in the presence of a compound containing amino, amide, imino, or imide group through steps of melting, kneading, cooling, and pulverizing.
CONSTITUTION: Aminosilane coupling agents, amines, such as ethylene diamine, imidazoles, aliphatic polyamines, aromatic polyamines, amides, such as dicyandiamide or polyamide resins, imides, such as succinimide by 5W40wt. pts. are mixed with 100wt. pts. of an epoxy resin together with a pigment, such as carbon, by 2W 8wt. pts. and a dye, such as nigrosine by 1W5wt. pts., heat molten, kneaded, and after cooling, pulverized and classified to about 5W25μ to prepare a toner. As a result, the toner fast adheres to surfaces having a mold release property, such as dry offset printing plates, and is able to form an image superior in printing registance.
