Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the electromagnetic inductive fault caused from the power facilities for the power supply system to the repeater in the optical fiber communication system, by irradiating the light transmitted via the optical fiber to secure generation of the power. CONSTITUTION:The following units are inserted between optical signal transmitting optical fiber 1 and 2: solar battery panel 11; power stabilizing circuit 13 to stabilize the output of panel 11 with adjustment; optical connectors 4 and 5; photo detector 6 and luminous element 8; amplification adjusting electronic circuit 7 which uses circuit 13 as the power source; and repeater 3 consisting of sealed box 9 which stores the above mentioned units to prevent the effect of the external electromagnetic field respectively. Thus the photoelectric power is supplied to panel 11 via photoelectric power transmitting fibers 12 and 12a.
