Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a novel paper adhesive tape having moderate release unwinding force and interlaminar strength, by applying a silicone release agent to a porous film on one side of a paper substrate, and by forming an adhesive mass layer on the other side.
CONSTITUTION: A porous film consisting of a synthetic resin, e.g. polyvinyl alcohol, having the film-forming ability is formed on one side of a paper substrate, e.g. kraft paper, and then coated with a silicone release agent having a viscosity ≥20cps. An adhesive mass layer, e.g. rubber, is then applied to the other side to give the desired tape.
