Abstract

PURPOSE:To break the input current of an output transistor by detecting short- curcuit between the output terminal and the ground terminal by a transistor where a push-pull output voltage is applied to the emitter. CONSTITUTION:Voltage dividing resistances R7 and R8 are provided between the emitter of transistor TrQ10 and the base of power source voltage-side push-pull output TrQ7, and a voltage below the output middle voltage is formed, and this divided voltage is applied to the base and the collector of TrQ11, and the push- pull output voltage is applied to the emitter. Short-circuit between output terminal OUT and the ground terminal is detected by this TrQ11, so that the input current of TrQ6 can be broken to prevent destruction of TrQ7.
