Abstract
PURPOSE: An agricultural and horticultural fungicide effective against plant blight caused by fungi, comprising a 2,4-dihalogenoquinazoline derivative as an active constituent.
CONSTITUTION: A fungicide comprising a 2,4-di-halogenoquinazoline derivative (A), e.g. 2,4-dichloroquinazoline, of the formula (X is halogen; R is nitro, halogen, lower alkyl, or lower alkoxy group, m is 0,1, or 2) as an active constituent. Preferably, the amount of (A) is 1W90 wt.% for dispersions or wettable powder, and 0.1W10 wt.% for powder or oils. The fungicide is effective against various types of plant blights.
