CONSTITUTION:The upper plate substrate of an electro-optical display part, namely, upper panel glass 6, is expanded to the outer part of a crystal display part and an analog display character plate face is formed besides a digital display face. Therefore upper deflecting plate 9 is also expanded to the part besides a liquid crystal layer. In this way, a display part is formed using an upper panel glass 6 as a base, so that a display character plate face is flat and no unevenness is found as it is in a conventional structure. Further, if passive reflector 13 such as passive reflector 12 deciding on a color of the back ground of a liquid display part is provided besides a liquid crystal display part, digital and analog display will be nearly equal in hue, thereby obtaining the unity of display.
