Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare a composite composition useful as a raw material of a film having excellent heat-sealability and improved impact strength, tensile strength, etc., by crosslinking a sepcific ethylene-α-olefin copolymer blended with a ethylene copolymer and crystalline polypropylene.
CONSTITUTION: A resin composition having a gel content insoluble to boiling xylene of 0W80wt%, pref. 1W30wt%, and a melt index of ≤10, pref. ≤0.2, is prepared by (1) mixing (A) a soft elastomer having a density of ≤0.91g/cm3 and composed of a copolymer of ethylene and a 3W12C α-olefin, and (B) a polymer selected from a low density polyethylene and a copolymer of ethylene and a monomer selected from a vinyl ester, an aliphatic unsaturated monocarboxylic acid, and an ester of the above acid, and/or a polymer selected from crystalline polypropylene, high- density polyethylene, polymethylpentene-1, and crystalline polybutene-1.
