Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an adhesive composition suitable for sealing anchor bolts to perforated holes, comprising a major component consisting of an unsaturated polyester resin, a tertiary amine-based curing accelerator and tin octenoate and a curing agent consisting chiefly of benzoyl peroxide.
CONSTITUTION: The objective adheisive composition comprising (A) a major component consisting of (a) 100 parts by wt. of an unsaturated polyester resin, (b) 0.2W1.0 part by wt. of a tertiary amine-based curing accelerator such as dimethylaniline, and (c) 0.2W1.0 part by wt. of tin octenoate and (B) 1.5 parts by wt. of a curing agent consisting chiefly of benzoyl peroxide.
EFFECT: Having excellent storage stability, with rapid cure when applied, also giving high bond strength.
