Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the internal pressure of a distributor for securely preventing high voltage flash-over only when light load or speed reduction operation is changed over to full load operation. CONSTITUTION:When an engine 10 has rapidly changed from the speed reduction operation wherein a throttle valve 20 is closed to the full load operation wherein a throttle valve 10 opens fully, the variation of the negative pressure of a suction manihold 19 is detected by a negative pressure sensor 43. The output signal of the sensor 43 is fed to a detector 44 and, if the value represented by the signal is larger than a set value, a solenoid valve 36 is opened. Thereby, the compressed air in a compressed air reservoir 34 is let flow into a chamber 54 through a pipe 35 and the compressed air intake pipe 64 of a distributor 64. The internal pressure of the chamber 54 is boosted and the withstand voltage value of the distributor 50 is increased for preventing high voltage flash-over.
