Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A herbicidal composition composed of 1 part of O,O-diphenyl-S- (2-methylpiperidin-1-ylcarbonylmethyl)phosphorodithioate and 0.1W0.4 part of a sym-triazine compound of the formula (R1 is Cl, methoxy or methylthio; R2W5 are 1W5C alkyl). Addition of a phenoxy fatty acid compound (esp. 2-methyl-4- chlorophenoxybutyric acid) to the composition further improves the herbicidal activity. It is usually applied to a paddy rice field in the form of granules. The organo-phosphorus compound has rather poor herbicidal effect to the grown weeds, and the combination with the triazine compound eliminates the disadvantage.
