Abstract

PURPOSE:To make possible correct exposure adjustment by such things as displaying of the selected exposure and automatically resetting the same to standard exposure upon lapse of the specified timr after ending of copying by way of a timer. CONSTITUTION:When a switch SW1, etc. are closed, the output of an inverter 51 inverts and an FF 27 is set, by which a relay K1, etc. are energized. This causes the current supply phase of the electric power supplied to light source lamps to be changed via resistance, capacitor, etc., whereby the exposure of the copying machine is adjusted. At the same time, a light emitting diode 71, etc. go on and by checking these, the exposure adjustment is correctly accomplished. On the other hand, the copy end signal through an OR gate 22 causes a timer 23 to start actuating. Upon lapse of the specified time after ending of copying, the timer time-out signal of the timer 33 causes the FF 27 to be reset, by which the relay K1 is de- energized. As a result, the exposure resets to the standard state and the diode 27 goes off, thus the occurrence of a miss owing to leaving after ending of copying is prevented. Further the color temperature change of the light sources during copying is compensated by the infrared ray blocking filter in the optical path.
