Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a reliable fixed minute flux pump to supply a fixed amount of ink constantly for a small-sized fixed flux pump suitable for an ink-supplying unit in an ink-jet printer.
CONSTITUTION: Hollows of three connected cylinders 13W15 with successively smaller diameters are respectively divided by bellows 19W21 to obtain pressure chambers 16W18, and in the central part of respective bellows, pistons 22W24 with successively smaller diameters are fixed to be reciprocated by a rotary eccentric cam 27. The above-written pressure chamber 17 is connected through an outflow valve mechanism 42 to a pressure-accumulating chamber 43, which is connected through an inflow valve mechanism 50 to the discharge pressure chamber 18 of a fixed flux. This pressure-accumulating chamber 43 is also connected through an outflow valve mechanism 48 and a pipe 49 to a subtank 35 with a filter 39 inside, which is connected through a pipe 40 and an inflow valve mechanism 41 to the pressure chamber 17. The ink inside the pressure chamber 18 is supplied to a printer P through an outflow valve mechanism 53.
