Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the title recording material colored to a desired color, especially a blue type, by using an electron acceptor and an electron donor in combination. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous solution or dispersion containing electron acceptive thionines (a) represented by the general formula (R1, R2 R3, R4 are H or CH3, and X is an anion), such as thiazine dyes, Azure C, or methylene blue; electron donative amines (b), a such as triethanolamine or ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (and their alkali salts); and a binder (c), such as hydroxyethyl cellulose or starch is coated and dried on a substrate, such as paper plastic film to form a photosensitive layer. Component (b) is used preferably more than component (a) by molar basis.
