Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide resin compsn. for paint having improved coating film property, extracted amount with water and coloring degree, comprising epoxy resin, bisphenol-aldehyde resin and amino resin.
CONSTITUTION: (A) An epoxy resin having MW of from 1400W3800, (B) bisphenol-aldehyde resin or a copolymer composed of above 60wt% of bisphenol- aldehyde resin and below 40wt% of epoxy resin having MW of from 380W900, and (C) amino resin are blended in weight ratio of (A)/(B+C) of 30/70W90/10 and in weight ratio of (B)/(C) of 95/5W50/50. When epoxy resin having MW less than 1400 is used, water resisting property of coating film becomes poor. When epoxy resin having MW more than 3800 is used, the processability becomes poor.
